At the end of the first term this year, my son who is in year 6 went from being a standard C kid to failing maths. We started weekly maths tutoring and after just one term has seen a complete turnaround. He has had some As on maths exams and got a B overall for maths on his report card last week. His teacher told me she can see how much confidence he has gained from the tutoring, in his posture in class and now has his hand up answering questions. We were offered a free class to see if my son will even sit for online classes as his attention span is not the best. It truly amazed me that his tutor changed multiple ways to learn the best way to teach my son, holding his attention. He is super happy and so are we. We don’t know yet if this will have a positive impact on his grades but we can see he’s learning and he’s enthusiastic to sit for classes.
